Yeshiva University Athletics is off to a great start this year, with the success of the volleyball and basketball teams being the highlights so far. However, there are some teams that seem to fly under the radar each year. Teams such as cross country, tennis, and golf do not play any of their matches on campus so students do not always remember that these teams even exist unless they grab our attention with victories or individual achievements.

Volleyball Recap

2009 brought many improvements for the Yeshiva athletics program. Yet, there may be no team that has improved as much as men’s volleyball. With an improved 11-14 season record last year, the volleyball team finished with the second best record in all of Yeshiva athletics only to be outdone by the tennis team.
