The Commentator, Yeshiva University, New York, NY

Recently, The Commentator's opinions section put up fliers around the Wilf campus. For the question "What is Torah u-Madda?" we received such lovely answers as "homosexuality," "the shield," and "Bernstiens [sic] a fag." For the question "Why are You at YU?" we received several wonderful responses, including "homosexuality," "cuz [sic] were [sic] gay," "parents made me go," and "I am?"
Aside from not receiving a single student submission for this prompt (a bit irksome, since it came about as a result of a discussion in a political science course both opinions editors are taking, and in which a few students pledged to write something for us), and aside from the standard-issue YU vandalism that involves ripping down signs, we were blessed enough to have these pearls of idiocy scrawled across our fliers.

Lafayette is experiencing a minor pink eye outbreak, according to health center officials. Also known as bacterial or viral conjunctivitis, Bailey Health Center has treated an increased number of eye infections during the last month, most of which appear to be caused by bacterial infection and not by seasonal allergies.
